Who is eligible for nomination?

Banks and Financial institutions

Eligible financial institutions must meet the following criteria:

  • The project is being executed within any of the following financial services institutions: commercial banks, credit unions, investment banks, insurance companies, brokerage firms, asset management companies, savings and loan associations, mortgage companies, private equity firms, venture capital firms, hedge funds, real estate investment trusts, or development banks.
  • Additionally, the institution must be based in the Americas, including Mexico, Brazil, South America, the Andean region, Central America, or the Caribbean.

Fintechs

Any Fintech that meets all of the following requirements:

  • The project is being executed by a financial technology company, payment processor or credit card company.
  • Provide a solution to the financial sector as part of its core business.
  • Have a functional solution implemented or ready to be implemented.
  • Have the financial capacity and resources to support the solution in Latin America.
  • Able to work in/with Spanish speaking countries and companies.
  • The company is no more than 5 years old.

Is there any cost to submitting?

No! Registration and the awards platform are completely free of cost. Additionally, the judges are the only ones who determine the winners, so there is no fee associated with winning.

What is the deadline to submit the nomination form?

All the submission forms for the 10th Annual Financial Innovators in the Americas Awards must be completed by September 20th, 2024.
